The use of lithium-ion batteries lets to reduce of power consumption on 25%, approximately. It is a substantial savings, because the annual electricity costs is equal to 20% of the batterys price.
Long service life - double durability
Total cycle durability of lead-acid batteries is at most 1500 "charge/discharge" cycles, and in the mid-range segment is 1000 - 1200 cycles. The cycle durability of lithium-ion cells (with lithium-iron phosphate cathode) is not less than 3000 "charge/discharge" cycles. Lithium-ion battery will serve two to three times longer than lead-acid battery.
Easy of operation
Lithium-ion batteries could be charged right in the workplace. There is no need to remove the battery from a forklift for charging.
Multifold reduction of maintenance costs
Integrated battery management system and applied smart charger make the charge of lithium-ion batteries completely automatic. Any forklift driver could by himself charge the battery. Lithium-ion battery is maintenance-free, has hermetic package and needs no special battery-charging room for charging (proved by the fire service and independent examination).
